Squire Patton Boggs is a global law firm known for its expertise, collaboration, and strong client relationships. However, its digital presence needed a refresh to closer reflect these strengths. The website and visual styling were static and impersonal, making it difficult for clients and prospective talent to experience the warmth, intelligence and sophistication that define the firm.
The firm operates as a truly connected organization across regions and practices, but this sense of unity was not visible online. The challenge was to create a digital presence that felt contemporary, confident and authentic, while clearly communicating the firm’s global capability and culture.
The creative approach was built around a single idea: Genuinely Connected. This concept shaped the refreshed visual and digital identity. At the heart of the system are proprietary graphical elements based on connectivity nodes and intersecting forms.
These elements form a visual language representing collaboration, breadth, and intelligence. The system is flexible, distinctive and instantly recognisable, reinforcing the firm’s identity across all digital touchpoints.
The design is supported by a refined image direction and maintaining the teal-centered color palette, conveying balance, sophistication and forward-thinking strategy. Teal continues to bridge trust and innovation while giving the firm a distinctive, contemporary edge.
The website became the focal point for expressing this refreshed identity. The design introduced clarity and precision to the user experience, replacing the firm’s previous, fragmented structure with one that feels open, confident and easy to navigate.
The interface integrates the new graphic language, colour and typography to create a sense of momentum and connection. Every element, from content hierarchy to motion design, was considered to reflect the personality of the firm.
Alongside the visual and digital work, we developed a proposition statement, elevator pitch, Google descriptor, brand values and tone of voice, ensuring the brand speaks consistently and authentically across all channels.
