To support the launch of Hill Dickinson’s new brand strategy and visual identity, the firm wanted to bring its proposition to life through powerful, people-led storytelling.
Our objective was to translate the new messaging into two distinct films that felt authentic, confident and engaging, while clearly expressing the firm’s purpose, values and personality.
A two-minute brand film was created to articulate Hill Dickinson’s firmwide proposition, purpose and market positioning for clients and external audiences, while an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) film focused on showcasing the culture, energy and lived experience of working at the firm, supporting attraction, retention and engagement of talent.
Both films were grounded in the same belief that sits at the heart of Hill Dickinson’s brand and people proposition: “Us always starts with you.”
We storyboarded, scripted, filmed, edited and produced two complementary films designed to bring Hill Dickinson’s brand and people proposition to life through authentic, human storytelling.
Shot over two days in one of the firm’s UK offices, the approach focused on capturing real moments, natural interaction and genuine voices resulting in films that feel confident and credible without appearing staged.
The brand film combines leadership perspective with candid footage of collaboration and everyday working life. Confident statements, dynamic pacing and clear use of the new brand world help communicate the firm’s purpose, values and momentum, while keeping people firmly at the centre of the story.
The EVP film takes a more immersive, people-first approach shaped by colleagues’ own voices from across the firm, providing an honest snapshot of the culture, opportunities and energy of working at Hill Dickinson. Observational footage and natural outtakes add warmth and authenticity, bringing to life reinforcing what “Us always starts with you” looks like in practice.
Together, the films play a critical role in activating Hill Dickinson’s new identity.
The brand film clearly communicates who Hill Dickinson is, what it stands for and why it matters, strengthening credibility with clients and stakeholders. The EVP film brings the people promise to life, offering a clear window into everyday life at the firm, supporting talent attraction while strengthening internal pride and engagement.
