Transforming a global law firm's digital brand experience

The challenge

Ranked as one of the most innovative global law firms, Vinson & Elkins needed an online presence that matched their reputation and allowed them to showcase their talent and services in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

It was clear that their incumbent website was no longer fit for purpose and hindered clear and effective communication. It was time for a big change!

The solution

Key to the success of this 12-month project was end-to-end our proven process: from discovery and content planning sessions with our clients, that ensured detailed and high-quality UX and IA, through to the design and coding of the site built with an Ektron CMS. 

Each piece of content and module on the site was carefully considered and crafted, with the taxonomy tested thoroughly to create a client-first online experience.

The firm's bio photography was updated and we provided the global photography team with a detailed style guide to adhere to. A style that delivered images that worked beautifully across different devices.

During the project, we were also able to refresh V&E's visual identity, guaranteeing that the firm's brand was consistent across all materials from the new online experience through to their business development tools and marketing collateral.

The result

This fully-responsive and mobile-friendly website has transformed the way V&E communicates online, highlighting the firm's in-depth experience through engaging content and providing ease of access to users in obtaining attorney contact information. The new site also interacts seamlessly with the firm's social media channels, allowing target audiences to connect with V&E in a variety of ways.
