Life as a Creative Pioneer 07 July 2014

This month marks me coming towards the end of my journey as a Creative Pioneer - I am working on my final unit and the search for the next apprentice is well underway.

I’ve learnt so much during my time as an apprentice and its gone by so fast – its bazaar to think that it was over a year ago that I was applying to be a Creative Pioneer.
The experience has been invaluable and I have gained skills, confidence and knowledge that can’t be taught.
No day has been the same in my time here; it’s often quite hectic, but very exciting.  I have had so many opportunities ranging from organising events and attending media briefings to running social media campaigns and writing news articles for both Livings and our clients websites. I have gained invaluable insights into PR and have developed an understanding of the media landscape and the importance of campaign evaluation and management.
After I finish my apprenticeship, I am going to continue working at Living as a marketing assistant – I am really happy that I’ve been given the opportunity to stay and look forward to the new challenges the job will bring.
I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship and hope the new apprentice enjoys their time as a Creative Pioneer as much as I have.
