2013 marked the hiring of our first Creative Pioneer. Now, Living are officially a London finalist in the Newcomer SME Employer category for the National Apprenticeship Awards.

The Apprenticeship Newcomer Employer of the Year category seeks to acknowledge employers who have recently invested in Apprenticeships and can demonstrate the immediate benefits this has brought to them.

Helen Tejedor, Living Group’s HR manager said: “We are delighted for the business to be recognised by the National Apprenticeship Service. The Creative Pioneers Apprenticeship is part of our ongoing ‘Inspiration Programme’, which is committed to finding young, talented individuals and providing them with the tools needed to begin a rewarding and sustainable career.  This scheme has provided an excellent framework for our Apprentice and other team members to allow them to achieve their personal development goals, as well as directly contributing to Living’s success.”

The National Apprenticeship Awards, now in their eleventh year, celebrate the achievements of the country’s most outstanding apprentices and Apprenticeship employers. Sue Husband, Executive Director of Apprenticeships and Delivery at the Skills Funding Agency commented: “The National Apprenticeship Awards recognise the best of the best and are an excellent opportunity for individuals and employers to gain the credit they richly deserve for investing in their own futures. I am delighted that Living Group has been short-listed, and would like to congratulate them on this success. All of the finalists should be extremely proud of their achievements.”
