Compelling content with modern aesthetics 24 October 2017
We recently launched the Autumn editions of Contribute and The Participant magazine for State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), with the aim to achieve a visually distinctive and content enriched publication that would differentiate from the more traditional institutional reads.
In 2012, SSGA began a programme of publishing rich insight on the retirement savings landscape. As SSGA’s flagship biannual publications, Contribute and The Participant represent the voice of participants in the US and scheme members in the UK within the Defined Contribution (DC) space, and serves as a platform to position SSGA as the thought leader and advocate for retirement readiness.
In previous editions of the magazines, research and insights were regionally siloed. With global expertise abound, we helped to create bespoke approaches for the UK and US to break down those siloes and better leverage their global perspectives on topics around plan design, product updates and investment strategies - supplemented by learnings and insights from their biannual DC Investor survey.
This year we were tasked with packaging their newly enhanced content and to enhance the messaging for the ‘voice’ of participants and scheme members with a bold, modern aesthetic. We created a distinct editorial style to complement the SSGA brand, which aims to engage and inspire plan sponsors so that they could implement positive change to their DC plans that would ultimately help their participants’ and members’ reach their retirement goals.
