RISE: elevating financial advisers' potential 05 July 2018

Working in partnership with financial advisers is a key aspect of a successful global asset manager's business strategy and our recent work with Russell Investments saw the rebrand of the firm's Practice Management and Transition Services solutions.

Practice Management delivers insights and expertise to help financial advisers build their businesses, elevate their client service and develop strategies to grow their client base. Transition Services helps them move to Russell Investments platform, giving them access to some of the world's leading managers, strategies and portfolio solutions.

Our challenge was to create a unified, memorable and inspirational brand name and positioning for these services, that would resonate with advisers across the globe and support the growth of this initiative across Russell Investments' 21 offices.

The solution? RISE – an aspirational, powerful and succinct brand that represents positivity and the potential advisers could achieve by working with Russell Investments. The name cleverly incorporates 'RI', representing Russell Investments and uses the same letters to denote a 'to the power of' symbol – reinforcing RISE's potential to its target audience.

The new brand name was accompanied by a carefully crafted positioning statement and a toolkit of headlines and messaging for use across marketing materials supported by bold metaphorical images, using our newly created firm-wide visual identity.
