nonSense by numbers

Information design is always based on how well it communicates its data, sometimes losing form over function. To purposefully invent absurd visual information to display by chart - just for the look of it - is Chad Hagens specialty. 'Nonsensical Infographic" is the header applied to the better part of the beautiful images he produces.
Chad has been a graphic designer and art director for the past sixteen years, and creates his info graphics using various print methods and collage elements. I like the combination of a faded background with italic script annotations, which remind me of antique medicinal diagram paper, and the sharp, moden and colourful chart shapes.
